Facebook fury at Eden Sessions ticket price cut
TICKET-HOLDERS are furious over the slashing of prices for the Eden Project's summer gigs after they forked out the full cost.
Many who paid £35 plus a £5 booking fee per ticket – coming to £80 a pair – for the Eden Sessions criticised Friday's announcement of new special ticket prices for five shows: Tim Minchin, Example, the Folk Session, Chase and Status plus Labrinth, Noah and the Whale and The Vaccines.
Nearly 100 people expressed anger on social networking site Facebook over the savings now available on a pair of tickets – £20 each plus a single £5 booking fee.
One posted: "Displeased with this, hardly charitable" while another wrote it would be the last time they went to a gig at Eden.

Many people, mostly locals, have paid £15 to join the Inside Track scheme, giving early access to tickets for which they pay full price.
James Walker, from Falmouth, said: "Loyal fans who consistently support the sessions are left feeling out of pocket. Anyone buying into Inside Track who bought two tickets on release would have spent £95; the price now is £50."
In a statement the Eden Project said: "We have spare capacity on five sessions so we've decided to run a special offer for a limited time on those."
