Seth Lakeman vows to return to Scilly
MERCURY award-winning folk singer Seth Lakeman has vowed to return to the Isles of Scilly after performing to two sell-out crowds at the weekend.
The Dartmoor-born folk singer and wife Hannah were in Scilly for the weekend before returning to the mainland on RMV Scillonian on Monday afternoon.

Crowds, including Eden Project director Tim Smit, flocked to the Old Town Inn on Saturday night and Tresco's New Inn on Sunday lunchtime to hear him perform.
"What a coup for the islands to have a singer of that calibre," said Keith Campion, of the Old Town Inn, which was sold out a fortnight in advance and represented the biggest "name" attracted by the fledgling St Mary's folk Club.

"Fantastic, what a star he is," enthused Robin Lawson, host of the other venue, Tresco's New Inn. "A genuinely lovely young gentleman who plays fantastic music."
The Old Town Inn gig was prefaced by turns from two local outfits – Five Wet Fish and the islands' sea shanty group Bone Idol.
"We've had a fabulous time," said Lakeman after the show. "We seem to have blended in. It's difficult not to fall in love with these stunning islands. It's a creative, inspirational place. I'm amazed at the number of musicians in Scilly. There's probably more music going on in the islands than in Plymouth!
"We aim to return next year with whoever is free of the band I work with."
