QUIRKY fashion and homewares have helped one Penzance shop to become a familiar face in the town.
Number 36 has been part of the make-up for the local high street for almost a decade and has sold its wares in Market Jew Street and the top of Causewayhead.

Settling in at the bottom of the busy shopping thoroughfare five years ago, Number 36, is a bright addition to Causewayhead with its colourful shop window displays complete with eye-catching outfits and snazzy shoes.
"We try to find things that are a bit different," said owner Andrea Simmons.

Andrea has been in the industry for around 30 years, as a shop owner and wholesaler.
When she moved to Penzance in 1997 she took part in market and retail shows before deciding to once again invest in a shop.
Explaining why she has stayed in the business for three decades, Andrea said: "I enjoy sourcing new products and meeting people. It's really nice in Penzance because it is a small community where you get to know your customers. Everything is nice and familiar."
