Silly Boys bring Happytown to Cornwall
THE Tallest Horse On Earth, a charming family puppet show by Cornish theatre company Silly Boys, is touring the county.
The show, which originally toured the UK in the spring, returns following the overwhelming and tremendous response it received the first time round.
Set in the fictional world of Happytown, this is the story of Tim, a little boy who happens to be the proud owner of the tallest horse on earth ... or so he thinks.
When Tim embarks on an adventure, he has only one trusty companion in mind. Together the duo will explore the countryside, meeting lost children and magical creatures along their way and resulting in an epic crusade of the smallest proportions.

The autumn tour comes fresh off the back of two sold-out performances at The Tobacco Factory in Bristol in August as part of the Bristol Festival of Puppetry. Performing alongside some of puppetry and theatre's biggest names including companies such as Pickled Image, Green Ginger and The Paper Cinema, joint artistic directors Seamas Carey and Callum Mitchell were blown away by the reaction of the Bristol audiences, made even more special as the duo have just recently relocated to the city. This was followed by an appearance at The Little Angel Theatre in London, regarded as 'the home of British puppetry'. Not bad for a company which only began a year ago, and had previously never experimented with puppets before.
They head to:
Nancledra School Hall on October 4; Princess Pavilion in Falmouth on October 13; Kehelland Village Hall on October 19; Praa Sands Village Hall on October 26 and the Burrell Theatre in Truro on November 1.
