Martin Sinclair has urged his team-mates to bounce back from yesterday's 7-1 humbling against Ukraine in double-quick time – despite the defeat ensuring they are out of medal contention in the seven-a-side football at London 2012.

Sinclair and his team-mates saw their second Paralympics experience end in a thrashing at the Riverbank Arena and, having lost 3-0 to Brazil in their opening clash, they cannot progress to the semi-finals.

Sinclair – the brother of Manchester City's Scott Sinclair – was an unused substitute in Saturday's clash with Brazil but was in the starting line-up yesterday.

The GB squad still have one Pool B clash to come against the United States tomorrow, and Sinclair cannot wait for another taste of the Games atmosphere. The former Plymouth Argyle disabled team player said: "It is a great occasion, walking out on the field in front of 16,000 people is a dream come true. It is my dream, I didn't think I would be here when I was 15.
