Singin' in the sun ... hopefully
CORNWALL Film Festival and The Works invite you to a special outdoor screening of the classic musical Singin' In the Rain, 60 years after its original release, in the beautiful surroundings of the Gyllyndune Gardens at the Princess Pavilion in Falmouth.
This is a free Big Dance event supported by Dance South West and will include live entertainment from 7.30pm on Saturday, June 30, followed by the screening of the film at sunset.

After the popularity of The Artist, released in 2011, and dealing with the same themes surrounding the introduction of the talking picture back in the 1920s, Singin' In The Rain tells the story of the famous Hollywood on-screen couple Lina Lamont and Don Lockwood. The plot focuses on the disruption caused by the arrival of sound into the film industry and aspiring actress Kathy Selden into Don's life.
With amazing dance routines from Hollywood great Gene Kelly and a fantastic soundtrack of unforgettable songs, this screening is perfect for those who have seen the film a million times over or who are looking to see it for the first time.
