Skybus transfers flights from Land's End to Newquay
The airline Skybus, which provides flights to the Isles of Scilly, has announced that it is temporarily transferring its operations from Land's End to Newquay Cornwall Airport. In an announcement on the company's Facebook and Twitter pages, it said that flights will use Newquay until the morning of Thursday 6th December. The move is the result of waterlogging at Land's End airport and forecasts of further heavy rain.
This means that all scheduled Skybus services to and from St Mary's Airport on the Isles of Scilly will operate via Newquay Cornwall Airport from Saturday, 1st December and on Monday, Tuesday and Wednesday next week. Skybus does not fly on Sundays.

Skybus says that it apologises for the inconvenience and is notifying all passengers about the revised schedules.
Anyone planning to travel during this time can contact Skybus on 01736 334220.
