Sleep out in St Austell to mark the start of poverty and homelessness week

A week shining the spotlight on poverty and homelessness starts with a mass sleep out in St Austell on Friday.

Church and homeless groups have been invited to take part in the activity to mark the start of Poverty and Homelessness Action Week (PHAW) 2013.

The theme of this year's PHAW is "who will cast the first stone?"

The sleep out, hosted by the Friends of St Austell Homeless (FOSTAH) and charity the St Petroc's Society, is in the grounds of St Augustine's Church, Woodland Road from 10pm on Friday until 6am on Saturday.

Buy one get one free on main courses and specials excludes fillet steaks. Equal prise meal or cheapest free

Terms: Mon-sat 12-2pm
Sun-Thur 6-9pm.

If weather conditions are too adverse it will be cancelled so participants should preregister and provide a contact number.
