Sleep out in St Austell marks the start of poverty and homelessness week
A week shining the spotlight on poverty and homelessness starts with a mass sleep out in St Austell on Friday.
Church and homeless groups have been invited to take part in the activity to mark the start of Poverty and Homelessness Action Week (PHAW) 2013.
The theme of this year's PHAW is "who will cast the first stone?"
The sleep out, hosted by the Friends of St Austell Homeless (FOSTAH) and charity the St Petroc's Society, is in the grounds of St Augustine's Church, Woodland Road from 10am to 6am on Saturday.
