Snow and ice closes schools throughout Cornwall
Snow and ice overnight in Cornwall have caused a number of schools to be closed or delay opening this morning.
Police have advised motorists to be very careful on the roads as conditions are said to be treacherous in many parts.

The following schools will be closed: Quethiock C of E VA School, Egloskerry School, Upton Cross Primary School, Pensilva Primary School, Darite Primary School, Trewidland Primary School, St Cleer Primary School, Trekenner School, South Petherwin School, Duloe C of E School, Stoke Climsland School.
The following schools will be open later than normal: St Stephens CP School, Launceston – opening at 11 am, St Neot primary school - opening at 11 am, , Manaccan School - opening at 10 am, Dobwalls Community Primary School – opening at 10.30 am, Calstock School – opening at 11am, Callington Primary School – opening at 11am, Trenode School will be opening at 11 am , Braddock C of E Primary School will be opening at 11 am
