Spectacle thief wanted by St Austell police
A SPECTACLE thief is sought by police.
A man reportedly went into Specsavers in Fore Street, St Austell, on Friday, February 22, and expressed an interest in a pair of frames before pocketing them.
Police said he was allegedly challenged when he went to leave the opticians but he swore at staff before walking off towards Bodmin Road.
He is described as an unshaven, white male in his mid-50s, about 5ft 3in, with short black hair, wearing black trousers and an olive green three-quarter length coat with a dark stripe in the middle.
