William has attended various workshops meeting a vast selection of Jaguar Academy of Sport Patrons and Ambassadors including David Beckham, Dame Kelly Holmes and Jessica Ennis.
These inspirational figures and the support they have provided have helped William continue his reign as British champion for the third time and finish sixth out of 178 fencers at the Godollo Cadet International sabre event in Hungary.
William said: "I'm delighted to have won this award. To be chosen as a Rising Star back in April was amazing, but to win an award is something else.
"I've loved being part of the Academy this year and my highlight has to be meeting all the Patrons including David Beckham.
"The Q&A with them all was truly inspirational and something I will never forget.
"I look forward to finding out who my one-to-one mentor is and receiving even more support."
