CRICKET: Truro's winter nets at the Cornwall Cricket Centre, Monday evenings for the 1st/2nd team (8pm-10pm) and alternate Thursday evenings for the 3rd/4th team and ladies (7.45pm-9.30pm). All new players welcome.

CRICKET: Perran-ar-Worthal are looking for new players for the 2012 season. The club has three teams in Divisions 1, 5 and 7. For details please ring first team captain Dave Angell on 07929366205.

CRICKET: Winter nets training for Senior Redruth CC players (men and ladies) started last Friday from 6-8pm at Redruth School Sports Hall, £2 per session. New players welcome. The club's ladies team are looking to expand their squad and are seeking new players, with or without playing experience, to join the training sessions. Winter training for the youth section have not yet been set, youth managers will contact players in due course, once training arrangements have been set.

COMMUNITY YOUTH FOOTBALL: Cornwall College Camborne are currently running a mini soccer centre on Saturdays 10am-11.30am £3 per week, a great introduction to football. Visit www.cornwall.ac.uk/football for more details.

DARTS: Martin 'Wolfie' Adams (England captain and 3 x BDO World Darts Champion) is giving exhibitions in the county over the Easter weekend. Dates are: Thursday April 5 – at Cable Station, Porthcurno; Good Friday April 6 – at Scillonian Club, St Mary's (IoS); Saturday April 7 – at Green Room, Redruth. Meanwhile, Kevin Painter, a top 10 performer in the PDC Order of Merit, will hold an exhibition at Mount Charles Social Club, St Austell on Saturday March 3. This is also the weekend that Cornwall entertain neighbours Devon in their division one British Inter County Championship encounter. Tickets are on sale at £6.00. FOOTBALL: Penryn Football Development Centre are delighted to announce that the Mini Kickers programme will be restarting this Saturday January 14. The programme enables young footballers (aged 6-11) to develop their skills and technique to build a platform for a successful football experience. Aimed at children (boys & girls) not necessarily with the skills or confidence to be part of an existing club structure. As a recreational football programme the emphasis is on fun and enjoyment, structured around sessions tailored to specific age groups. Sessions run from 9.15-10.15 for 6-8 year olds, and 10.30-11.45 for 9-11 year olds. The cost for each five week block is £15, or players can pay £3.50 for individual sessions. FOOTBALL: There are still a few places left on the Weekend Basic Referee Course taking place at Cornwall FA HQ in Bodmin starting tomorrow. HAYLE CRICKET CLUB: AGM, Thursday January 26, 7.30pm at Hayle Rugby Club. All welcome.

HAYLE RUNNERS: Training nights at Hayle Rugby Club on Tuesday and Thursday at 7pm where runners of all abilities and speeds are welcome. Longer runs are also arranged on Sundays to help runners prepare for marathons and half marathons when no grand prix races are being held. PLYMOUTH ARGYLE FOOTBALL IN THE COMMUNITY TRUST: February Half-Term Soccer Courses. Plymouth Argyle's football coaches will once again be at several venues in the Cornwall area with their popular Soccer Courses for boys and girls age 5-14yrs, in the February Half-Term holidays.
