St Agnes dad proposes using newborn daughter to pop the question
A ST Agnes couple had a double celebration at Royal Cornwall Hospital which sent hearts racing.Baby Harley Violet arrived weighing 6lbs 14oz last Wednesday (MAR 13) and was carefully dressed by dad, James Thompson in a pretty pink baby grow bearing the words Will You Marry My Daddy?
Stunned mother, Hana Jones didn't keep dad waiting, saying: "There were a lot of tears as well as a yes."The surprise proposal also proved a shock for midwife Alison Miles as well, who said: "I had just popped out of the room and was sent running back when I heard the heart monitors going off. It turned out to be Hana's high heart rate because of James' proposal."
The couple have been together nearly five years and also have three-year-old son Rueben. James said: "I'd decided I was going to propose before Christmas and then found the babygrow online and so it seemed the perfect idea." The couple are now looking forward to going home to celebrate with family and friends.

“Maybe Bob, but these are the standards which have kept our society together for generations. It is only now because they are being cast aside that our society is degenerating into a nation of single parent families with a reliance on benifits. I suppose it is luck that this family have got it together later rather than sooner!”
