St Austell man in court charged with Helston murder
A 54-YEAR-OLD man from St Austell has been charged with murder by police investigating the death of Colin Payne.
The body of Mr Payne, who was 72, was found in a property in Sanctuary Lane, Helston last Sunday.
A police spokesman said today that Alexander Channer had been charged with murder and would appear before Truro Magistrates Court this morning.
Mr Channer was arrested in the Nottingham area, the spokesman said.
