Storms in Cornwall could continue into March
Stormy conditions will continue in Cornwall for the next two weeks and could carry on into March.
The latest Met Office forecast said the “unsettled” weather that has devastated the region is likely to persist.
The county is preparing itself today for another massive storm with gale-force winds and heavy rain.
The storm that will hit Cornwall overnight will also bring the biggest waves yet in a season of wild weather.

The Met Office issued a forecast for the period up to February 20 which said: “Remaining very unsettled throughout the period with showers or longer spells of rain, particularly in the south and west where heavy and persistent rain is often likely.
“Gale force winds are likely at times, especially in the southwest and across southern and western coasts, where severe gales are possible.”
Temperatures are likely to remain at normal levels but more wind and rain is expected into March.
The Met Office forecast said: “Current indications point towards early February's unsettled conditions persisting through the rest of the month and into the start of March.”
