Storms cause havoc across Cornwall
Gale force winds and heavy rain have caused havoc across parts of Cornwall this evening.
A spokesperson from Cornwall Fire and Rescue Service said crews had been called out to several weather incidents in the last few hours.
Homes have been flooded in Lostwithiel and Penzance and earlier this evening a river at Pendarves near Camborne burst its banks, which led to fears a nearby house would be flooded.
Fire crews pumped water from the river away from the property and remained on scene before highways crews arrived to close the road.
