Support for their brother-in-arms
BODMIN residents are supporting a soldier who has lost seven comrades from his battalion in the Afghan conflict.
Nigel Potter's Memorial Walk from John O'Groats to Land's End will include an evening spent in Bodmin and a presentation at the Garland Ox pub of the money collected in the town.
Mr Potter's colleagues served with the Royal Regiment of Fusiliers and he is raising money for Fusilier Aid Society and The Forces' Children's Trust.
Former members of the regiment who live locally will meet Mr Potter at Temple where he is scheduled to arrive on April 25, and walk with him into Bodmin.
