Surf lifesaving club members to represent GB
Five talented members of Portreath Surf Lifesaving Club have been selected to compete in the Great Britain Surf Lifesaving team at forthcoming championships.
Mesha Wardman, George Haynes and his younger brother Charlie will compete in several surf lifesaving disciplines as part of the senior team at the upcoming championships, to be held in Holland this weekend.
Then, following this, Charlotte Hewitt, Emma Henderson and Charlie Haynes have been selected as part of the Junior Great Britain Team to compete in Italy at the beginning of September.
Charlie Haynes, at only 16 years of age, will be the youngest member of the senior team and club chairman, Rob Phillips said that to be also selected for the youth team was "a fantastic achievement."
