Surfers ride triple-overhead waves at St Agnes in St Jude's storm
As the rest of Cornwall was busy tying down the garden furniture surfers in St Agnes were out making the most of the stormy conditions.
The exceptional waves came in advance of the St Jude's storm that hit Cornwall on Sunday night.
Surfers at Trevaunance Cove in St Agnes were out in triple-overhead waves that dwarfed the courageous riders.
Dan Sedgwick, an amateur surf photographer covering the North Cornwall coast, captured surfer Robin Kent in this massive wave on Sunday afternoon.
Dan said the swell really picked up in the afternoon and provided "amazing" waves.
