Mark Read, head of shared services at Cornwall Council, said: “The team at Truro Community Library has worked very hard to promote the library which even boasts its own community garden – magically transformed into Santa’s grotto in the run up to Christmas.”
Andrew Wallis, Cabinet member for children and young people, said: “It is fantastic to see that so many people appreciate and use the library which offers something for everyone including readers’ and poetry groups and computer lessons.
“There are also great activities on offer for children including baby bounce and rhyme sessions, storytime sessions for under 5’s and children’s after school club.”
