THREE children from Rosemellin School at Camborne have had their first taste of stardom on television.

Jake Broadbent, Johnny Bentham and Alisha Rossi all appeared in Tuesday morning's episode of Mr Bloom's Nursery on CBBC. And they will feature again next week.

Rosemellin School's deputy head teacher John Peck said: "The school was contacted by the production company who came in and selected the three children.

"They took part in the recordings that took place at Heartlands last year and also went to the TV studios in Manchester for more recording."

A special assembly was held at Rosemellin on Tuesday so that all the children could watch Jake, Jonny and Alisha in action.

Mr Bloom is the alter ego of Ben Faulks, from Truro.
