TV team planning documentary
SPEAKING at Liskeard Town Forum, Liskeard Town Team's Sally Hawken said a TV crew had been in Liskeard and would be choosing three towns for a BBC documentary.
She said the advice had been to think very carefully about the pros and cons should Liskeard be invited to take part.
"For everyone who's said to me they think it will put us on the map, there's someone who's said its dangerous to our privacy," she said. "There's a suggestion it will be much harder to manage our plans if we're also managing TV."
Liskeard's officials are waiting for instructions and clarification from the Department for Communities and Local Government and will then call an extraordinary meeting to discuss how the money should be used.
