ONE of Cornwall's biggest car dealers is marking 80 years since it sold its first vehicle parts – gasoline and bike brake blocks.
Tractor, motorcycle and car sales followed in 1940, and today Hawkins Motor Group comprises seven dealerships and employs about 200 staff.

Hawkins Motors Group is marking 80 years since founder William 'Billy' John Hawkins started out in business in Cornwall.
And celebrations of its 80th year in the industry will include VIP events, special offers and discounts as well as competitions.
The family business founded by William John Hawkins in St Stephen, near St Austell, now deals in seven brands, including Peugeot, Kia, Citroen, Hyundai, Great Wall, Mitsubishi and Isuzu.
