Taking care of the environment with a Hybrid
One of Cornwall's leading organic skincare companies is making use of a low carbon Toyota.
Managing director, Amanda Barlow took delivery of Spiezia Organics' All-New Auris Hybrid Tourer this week at Parklands Toyota.
Handing over the car was Richard Stephenson, sales manager for Parklands Toyota, Cornwall's only Toyota dealers. The hybrid, low-carbon car is co-branded for Spiezia Organics and Parklands Toyota in a joint marketing project.
Spiezia Organics make natural skincare products to the very highest organic standards. Amanda said "We looked at petrol, diesel and hybrid versions of many usefully-sized estate cars, but only the Auris Hybrid fitted all of our requirements and matched our company philosophy.

"At Spiezia Organics, we are totally committed to sustainability. Our jars and bottles are made from recycled glass and we use aluminium lids and corrugated covers to protect our products. The packaging is made from a mix of recycled sources and sustainable forests. In line with our philosophy of ensuring we minimise our carbon footprint, our bottles and jars are sourced from within the UK."
Smiling as he handed over the keys, Richard Stephenson said: "As well as a low carbon footprint and outstanding recyclability, the longevity and low running costs of the All New Auris Hybrid are a real help to any business. Frugal fuel use, low servicing costs and zero road tax for life are all part of the package."
He added: "We are very pleased to work with a local company like Spiezia Organics. Parklands are a local company too, based in Helston and Truro, supplying and servicing Toyota cars and light commercial vehicles across the county. Seeing one of our smart new Hybrids sporting Spiezia Organics branding is very much a win-win.
"We're looking forward to finding other local businesses who also want to have an economical, sustainable, reliable and long-lasting vehicle."
