Tambourine Men will leave you eight miles high
IF YOU like the jingle jangle sounds of the legendary American band The Byrds you should make your way down to the King's Arms in Lostwithiel on the early evening of Sunday to see The Tambourine Men.
Tony Taylor, a longtime Lostwithiel musician who has been behind such bands as The Blues Bandits as well as being a bluegrass banjo picker of renown, fronts the band, who will be playing to commemorate the 40th anniversary of the death of two of The Byrds – guitarist Clarence White and singer-songwriter Gram Parsons, who actually visited Cornwall in 1971.
