CORNWALL Animal Action will be hosting a second annual free food fair at Truro City Hall on Saturday.

All are welcome to try the many delicious vegan treats on offer at the free buffet.

Delicious snacks from wraps to burgers, pasties, biscuits, ice cream, cakes and cream teas, all prepared using animal-free alternatives to milk, cream, cheese, butter and meat.

This year there is a special emphasis on catering options and caterers are especially welcome to come with any questions they may have on how to cater without using animal products.

Local suppliers will be featured, and local cafés and restaurants will also be offering tasters and samples.

There are many reasons to explore the benefits of a vegan diet, whether for reasons of personal health, animal ethics or addressing climate change and environmental issues. The free vegan food day is being held to show how easy and tasty such a diet can be.

Held to mark world Vegan Month, the event is sponsored by Animal Aid and will take place from 11am to 3pm – truroveganfair.wordpress.com
