Teenager locked up
A MOTHER has welcomed magistrates' decision to lock up her violent teenage daughter. Louise Miller, 15, was made the subject of a 12-month detention and training order after trying to strangle Falmouth student Rebecca Hughes to steal her bag. So appalling was Miller's behaviour, the court agreed to a request by our sister paper the West Briton to remove her anonymity. She had previously been charged with assault and theft.
