VIDEO: Teenagers rescued by lifeboat after being cut off by Falmouth tide
Four teenagers had to be rescued in Falmouth on Sunday evening after they got cut off by the tide.
The group were at Stack Point, between Swanpool and Maenporth at about 6pm when they realised they had got into difficulty, finding themselves unable to get back onto the coast path.

They contacted the coastguard who sent both inshore and offshore lifeboats to their aid as well as the cliff rescue team.

The lifeboat was able to reach the beach and pick them all up and took them back to the lifeboat station where they were looked after until their parents arrived.
A spokesman for the coastguard said: "Beach goers should always check the tide times before going to the beach, and should also be aware that once cliff paths and the surrounding area get wet they can become very slippery."
