Thieves snatch Mercedes charity tin
A charity box raising money in memory of a woman who died of cervical cancer has been stolen. The Mercedes Curnow Foundation fund-raising tin was taken from Herbies fish and chip shop in Penzance on Monday. About £30 was believed to have been in the box. Police are appealing for information.
