“Trick...I love Halloween. After the egg on the windows incident (nobody was home) I've got into the spirit. I've primed the ballista and the oil is nicely simmering away now we'll see who's got egg on their faces!”

“My treat is doing up my son and his friends to look like scary zombies, vampires and other scary creatures. Each year we try out a new look. This year tissue paper for decaying skin-nice!”

“my favourite treat this time of year is to make my own pumpkin and spinach soup, made from the middle of a good-sized local pumpkin I have scraped out and then cut into an as scarey/funny face as I can, pop a tea-light inside and position in the window over Hallowe'en to cheer everyone walking by - so two treats really, one for the tum and one for the fun of the season!”

“#treat - meet the trick or treaters at the door, in a bigger, scarier costume than theirs. Full on demonic laugh and then dish out the treats! They love it!”
