Thompson leaves City after 18 games as manager
After just 18 games in charge Steve Thompson has left Truro City by "mutual consent".
In a statement today the club said: "Following discussions with Steve Thompson, it has been agreed by mutual consent that with immediate effect Steve will no longer continue in his role as first team manager.

"The club would like to thank Steve for all his efforts on behalf of Truro City Football Club and wishes him every success in the future.
"Until such time as anew manager is appointed Lee Hodges will be assisting with first team affairs, commencing with our game at Evesham United scheduled for tomorrow evening."

“Another chapter for Heaney's House of cards! its about time people realised he only wants the land to build offices to rent out to Cornwall Council and a supermarket! but if Truro are not successful they will not get planning to move grounds! Soon as Truro move, they will fall as quickly as they appeared, with our fantastic Chairman nowhere to be seen!”
