THE OWNERS of Hawkins Motors Ltd at Blackwater are seeking more time to implement planning consent, granted in 2009, to extend MoT workshops and build five industrial units.

Writing to planners in support of the application, Cornwall Council business investor support adviser Stephen Vinson said: "The availability of light industrial and warehousing premises is an important prerequisite in the setting-up and subsequent expansion of businesses. The increased supply of such premises is necessary."
