1 min – The Pirates make the worst possible start as they spill possession midway inside the Swansea half. Scrum-half Aled Lewis seizes possession and races clear of the cover down the left flank to score in the corner. Sam Davies converts. Swansea 7 Pirates 0.

4 – Swansea concede a penalty as they infringe at a ruck 40 metres out. Hallett is off target with the kick.

24 – Pirates pressure is finally rewarded as Swansea's scrum collapses in front of their own posts and Hallett slots the kick. Swansea 7 Pirates 3.

28 – Gavin Cattle leads a Pirates breakout and good support running from James Tyas who feeds Kieran Hallett only for the fly-half to be bundled into touch short of the line.

30 – Swansea lose flanker James Bija to the sin-bin after a petulant scrap off the ball with Cattle.

31 – From the penalty and driving lineout the Pirates pack crash over the Swansea line with Kyle Marriott claiming the score. Hallett converts for a three point interval lead.

Half-time: Swansea 7 Cornish Pirates 10.

43 – The Pirates keep up the pressure in worsening weather as Hallett strokes over a 40 metre penalty. Swansea 7 Pirates 13.

46 – From a cheeky restart by Davies, chipping the ball ahead for himself to gather, the Pirates are forced back on the defensive and concede a penalty converted by the home fly-half. Swansea 10 Pirates 13.

53 – Swansea gift the Pirates another penalty at the breakdown for playing the ball with hands on the floor. Hallett adds three more to the total. Swansea 10 Pirates 16.

55 – A superb break by Hallett and Mercer for the Pirates feeds lock Dave Lyons but he is bundled into touch by Brooks before he can ground the ball for a try out wide.

60 – The game enters a decisive phase with a series of scrums five metres from the Swansea line and neither side able to keep control of possession.

64 – Finally the Pirates strike with Cattle sniping around the narrow side and off-loading to Tom Bedford, who steps inside the tackle of Nathan Brooks to dot down in the corner. Hallett converts. Swansea 10 Pirates 23.

66 – Wes Davies claims a Swansea kick ahead inside his own half and slips a pass wide to Bedford. The Pirates wing in turn finds Tom Riley on a fine running line and he carves open the home defence before setting up Rob Elloway to canter in from 15m. Hallett again adds the extras. Swansea 10 Pirates 30.

80+3 – The Pirates are unable to add the bonus point clinching try and on a rare Swansea attack deep in stoppage time lose Darren Barry to a yellow card after he kills the ball in his own 22.
