Tip-off helps catch driver
POLICE caught a drink-driver after a tip-off from someone who had seen him.
Patrick John Kelly, 46, of Lemin Park, Reawla, pleaded guilty at Truro Magistrates' Court to drink-driving at Reawla on July 13.
He had failed a roadside breath test, later testing at 79mcg in breath, more than twice the legal limit.
His solicitor Paul Gallagher said he had been playing music in a local pub and had a few drinks. He was depressed and he decided to drive home.
