Toddler hurt in plunge from fifth floor flat
A baby girl is in intensive care in hospital after plunging from a fifth floor flat.
The 16-month-old toddler fell from the window of her home in Talbot Gardens, Plymouth, at about 8.30am on Saturday.
The little girl was rushed to Derriford Hospital where her condition was last night described as stable.
It is thought she may later have to be transferred to a specialist unit in Bristol.

Police say she did not suffer any external wounds but sustained serious internal injuries.
Officers are continuing to investigate the incident.
The block of flats is one of several sandwiched between Savage Road and Talbot Gardens.
It is understood the girl fell from a veranda leading out from the property's sitting room area.
Her family were too upset to speak yesterday.
As news of the incident broke yesterday, scores of people took to Facebook to send messages of support to the family.
Becky Cole wrote: "Hope the little one pulls through. Such a terrible accident.
"But as parents we don't have eyes in the back of our heads."
Tracy Greaves added: "Can't even imagine on earth how the parents must be feeling right now.
"My thoughts are with the family. Stay strong, am thinking of you."
