The elite event that has featured fighters from New York, Portugal, New Zealand, Poland, Holland and Thailand in the past has a scheduled 15 fight card named 'Fast & Furious 2' featuring Cornwall's leading Thaiboxers from Touchgloves Penzance, WAKT Camborne, SO8 Falmouth and Koncept Newquay versus competitors from Ireland, Wales, Liverpool and Bristol as well as a strong undercard of exciting domestic challenges.
The headline event spotlight shines on 21-year-old local female Lucy Payne, who has been competing abroad and at a higher weight for the past two years due to being heavily avoided worldwide despite matchmaking efforts. She now has a challenger in Lucy's chosen weight category (-57kg)
She said: "I am so excited to be competing locally again. It does bring more pressure but at last I have the chance to compete at my own weight for a world title back in my hometown.
"The USA WBC champion Tiffany Van Soest called me out in Vegas recently but didn't honour the fight, so I can pursue to claim the official world No.1 ranking if I win this. I hope to make my sponsor, The Allotment, proud of my career.
Also challenging the elite 'Awakening' world title will be 14-year-old GEMS Bolitho School pupil Amber Kitchen.
Amber has held her reign as British and European champion for years and will face Ireland's best junior fighter Bethany Barrett, 14.
Amber has been training under the tuition of former junior British No.1 Isaac Ashley, who is assistant trainer to the junior fighters.
Camborne's Jimmy Reagan faces Bristol's Adam Thomas in a much anticipated rematch after getting caught with a devastating body kick last year. Jimmy is out for revenge in what could be the most exciting stand up fight of 2013.
From SO8 Falmouth Thaiboxing Club, Ashley Mann, Kieren Lee Saunders and David Greaves all make their debut in domestic matches.
Other fighters from the Touchgloves team include: Vicky Church, Claire Patrick, Matt Harding, Brandon Willoughby, Aneka Marr, Mike Williams, Claire Walky, Barrie Prowse, Scott Rowe, James Smitheram and Klaivs Skrundieneks.
A domestic clash between Police Constable Candice Britten and firefighter Kathy Billing is a much anticipated crowd draw as both girls will compete to represent their force teams and have trained just 10 weeks for the event.
Doors open at noon on Sunday, first fight 1pm – 6pm. Tickets are available from Julie Kitchen (07976245880) and Penzance Leisure Centre (01736 874744).
