BUDE defend their 100 per cent league record when they visit second-placed Liskeard in a top of the table premier division clash at Lux Park tomorrow.

Liskeard, who suffered their only league defeat when they went down 4-2 at home to Torpoint a fortnight ago, will take over from Bude in the top spot if they beat the North Cornwall side.

Torpoint, who dropped a couple of home points against Saltash last weekend, face a testing visit to Tavistock while third placed Elburton Villa are away to Millbrook, another of the division's in-form teams.

Bottom of the table Morwenstow will look to build on last week's supplementary cup success with a home match against Bere Alston.

St Dominick, who gained a welcome league cup win last Saturday, are at home to Saltash while Launceston will look to bounce back from their defeat at St Dominick when they visit Probus.

Two teams in the bottom four meet at Lanreath where Wadebridge are the visitors.

First division leaders Bodmin take a break from league action when they travel to Plymstock in the first round of the Rowett Insurance League Cup.

That could give St Teath an opportunity to take over at the top of the table when they visit Edgcumbe.

The ECPL management committee and Cornwall FA have given approval for Biscovey to change their name to St Blazey Gate FC.

They will continue to play at Par Running Track. The secretary is now Michael Ford, of 37 Trenovissick Road, St Blazey Gate, Par, PL24 2DY Telephone 01726 815842, e-mail: michaelford10@hotmail.co.uk
