Tourist town aims to improve bathing water
A public meeting is being held to discuss how to improve the quality of bathing water in South East Cornwall. The meeting has been organised by the East Looe Town Trust and will be held at the Rusty Bucket, between 10am and 1pm, on Saturday, March 16. Trust chairman John Warne said: "The meeting is likely to break some myths about what needs be done to maintain the high standing of Looe's main swimming beach. It is not just for organisations, but for schools, businesses and the community at large. Better to get ahead than find that our beach has been downgraded."
