Staff at First Great Western have raised over £1,000 for Gateway, a charity centre in Exeter which has helped adults who suffer from learning difficulties since it was founded in 2005.

The train company decided to donate £1 for every survey filled in by their members of staff.

A total of £1,186 was raised and given to the foundation. First Great Western has in the past helped Gateway purchase a number of computers for the centre which offers guidance and support, as well as arranging social and recreational activities for their clients.
