Transport police release CCTV images in connection to Penzance assault
British Transport Police have released CCTV images of a group of people they would like to speak to in connection to an assault in Penzance.
The incident took place in the car park at Penzance railway station in the early hours of Sunday, 29 January during which a woman, 21, and a man, 25, received facial injuries. The woman also suffered an injury to her elbow.

Officers believe a number of people who were making their way home after attending a nearby nightclub witnessed the incident.
Detective Constable Dave Bailey said “After making enquiries, including speaking to witnesses and viewing CCTV images from the area around Penzance railway station, I would like to identify and speak to the people in these photographs as I believe they can assist the investigation.
“It’s my belief that the woman in the T-shirt with the Nike logo had tried to intervene and stop the altercation, so I am only seeking to speak to her as a witness, as I believe she will have information which can help police.
“I am urging anyone who recognises any of the people in these images, or who knows their current whereabouts, to contact British Transport Police.
"Additionally, if you witnessed the incident and have not yet spoken to police, I would urge you to come forward with whatever information you may have."
Anyone with information is urged to contact British Transport Police on 0800 40 50 40, or the independent charity Crimestoppers on 0800 555 111. In all calls, please quote incident reference B3/WWA of 14/02/2012.
