A touring print and bookbinding workshop will help Cornish communities to create a unique record of their own towns.

The Travelogue Kernow project welcomes everyone and no experience is needed as there will be lots of expert help on hand. The aim is to bring images and text together to create a unique handmade book that tells the stories of people and places in Cornwall.

It is the brainchild of Penzance-based artists Jesse Leroy Smith and Bernard Irwin, with funding from FEAST and the Heritage Lottery Fund. It is carried out under the expert guidance of artists and printmakers and working with the highly skilled book studio PZ Conservation.

Travelogue Kernow is at Wadebridge Town Hall from February 16-18 and Liskerrett Community Centre, near Liskeard, on February 20 and 21. It will also visit Launceston, Helston, Art8 Newquay and Trelya Penzance during 2013. The book will be launched with an exhibition in 2014.
