Trial date set for Porsche driver
A date has been set for the trial of a Porsche driver accused of going at 120 mph on the A39 in North Devon. Robin Stoneman denies driving his Porsche Carrera dangerously on the A39 at Holmacott, near Bideford on July 16 this year. The 54-year-old, of Hanson Park, Northam, will face a trial at Exeter Crown Court on December 17 after attending a pre-trial review conducted by Judge Graham Cottle. Mr Terry Holder, defending, said Stoneman disputes police evidence that he drove his car at 120 mph.
