Truro Methodist Church raises funds for Mozambique orphanage
VOLUNTEERS from Truro Methodist Church will head to Mozambique next summer to support children left parentless in the Aids pandemic.
The church has supported the Malavela Orphanage since 2010, when a group of teenagers visited the orphanage to volunteer with the orphans, deliver basic clothing and footwear, and work on developing the building, which is home to 26 children.

Since then, the church has supported the charity financially and now a further trip is planned to complete building projects which are needed to continue the work of the orphanage.
Fundraising projects are now under way to pay for the trip, including chestnut selling at High Cross (outside Whittard) every Wednesday during late-night shopping.
