Truro company Follett Stock face 'winding up' petition
A TRURO-based law firm could face liquidation if a legal petition is granted against them next week.
Her Majesty's Revenue and Customs (HMRC) has brought forward a case to ‘wind up’ Follett Stock LLP, on Truro Business Park, which will be heard by the Royal Courts of Justice on September 30.
A winding up petition can be applied for if a company cannot repay its debts of over £750.
Commissioners for HMRC presented Follett Stock with a petition to wind up the company on August 19.

West Briton contacted Follet Stock but no one was available to comment.
The law firm also has offices in London, Exeter and Bristol.
Last month, it was revealed that Follett Stock had settled out of court with a former employee, solicitor Kate Baker, over sexual harassment, sexual discrimination and unfair dismissal allegations against her employer.
On August 27 it was revealed that a full hearing into Miss Baker's claims would not proceed further, after the case was settled out of court.
Follett Stock did not comment upon the settlement.
