Miss Hill said: “Losing my dad this year gave me more than enough reason to finally commit to doing a marathon and Mandy was right by me when we looked into what marathon to do.
“Having not ran properly for a couple of years we wanted to give us as much time as possible to train but wanted to run a marathon this year.
“We booked up for the Dublin Marathon on March 29 this year, on what would have been my Dad's birthday, and committed to fundraising for Cancer Research UK.
“We have nearly 30 family, friends and colleagues coming from Cornwall over to Dublin to support us – we'd love to thank them and everyone who has donated in advance for their support.”
