Former Truro secretary dies at 65
A MEMORIAL service for Geoff Luke, a former Truro City secretary, will be held at St Agnes Parish Church tomorrow (Friday Februray 1) at 11am, following his sudden death at the age of 65 in London.
Mr Luke, who came from the village, has also been assistant secretary at West Ham and was an England international at Table Soccer (Subbuteo).
England Subbuteo Association chairman, Justin Finch, said: "Geoff was a very sincere person who organised the Cornwall Invitation Open for many years in St Agnes.
"The event itself epitomised everything which is good about the game of Subbuteo, because it focused on the social element.

Mr Luke founded the London Branch of the Plymouth Argyle Supporters' Club back in 1978 and was an avid fan of the League 2 club.
