Truro stalker Darren Blee detained in custody
A Truro man has been detained in custody after stalking and harassing a young woman.
Darren Blee, 22, from Treyew Road, hid in bushes and jumped out in front of a car in his pursuit of Pippa Dowson.
The court heard that Blee followed Miss Dowson in February and the next month screamed, shouted and yelled at her on her way home.
Blee hid in bushes and shone a torch and laser at Miss Dowson’s window.

In late May Blee hid in bushes on the traffic island on Treyew Road and then followed Miss Dowson down the road.
Last month Blee jumped in front of a car Miss Dowson was in, causing it to stop and swerve.
He also circled the Wig and Pen pub when he knew Miss Dowson was inside and then again jumped in front of a car she was in.
Blee pleaded guilty at Truro Magistrates Court to an offence under the Protection from Harassment Act. He was remanded in custody and will be sentenced next month.
