Updated: Widespread flooding in west Cornwall
Commuters in west Cornwall have continued to experience problems with widespread flooding following heavy rainfall in the region over night.
Floods were reported this morning in Rosudgeon, St Erth, Heamoor and between St Ives and Hayle, and police have also indicated that there was 100m of standing water on the Helston to Hayle road.
Reports have since come in about flooding on the Gulval to Nancledra stretch of the B3311 due to high water run-off from fields and lanes.
Problems have also been indicated on the Gulval to Ludgvan road while flooding on Coach Road between Lelant and St Ives, due to high water levels in a nearby stream, have now been sorted.
