VIDEO: Seal pup washed up in Looe during floods
This is the moment a seal which had been thrown onto a promenade by stormy seas flopped its way back to the water in Looe.
It is thought the animal was washed onto the land by the particularly violent waves caused by the storms and flooding yesterday.
Amateur photographer, Alan Kelly, 40, was able to film the pup pulling itself back into the water on Quay Road in West Looe, Cornwall, during high tide.
Alan, from Looe said: "I just happened to be stood there and then I saw something came down the road.

"At first I thought it was just a bin bag but then I realised it was a seal.
“It was just there and off it went into the water- this seal went for a bit of an adventure.
"It's certainly not something you see every day - it was a bit of a shock.
